COM2LLD - Improving the efficiency of the measurement model for LLD
Leg length discrepancy (LLD) is an orthopedic condition that involves a difference in length between the lower extremities. This is a significant medical problem, and the causes may be various traumas, diseases, deformities of the locomotor system, surgery, growth disorders, neurological illness, and others. Statistics have shown that up to 90% of the population has LLD!
Goal to reach (The Innovation Maturity Level -IML):
-
Proof of Feasibility (PoF) - IML4
-
Proof of Value (PoV) - IML5
-
Initial Clinical Trails (ICT) - IML6
Feedback from reviewers:
Evaluators noted that the team has already been working together successfully on projects; one wrote:
"The proposal is extremely well thought and brings much value to a clinical problem where solutions have not changed for many years"
